With Sprong playing in the KHL, does anyone have any word on Andreas Athanasious and his possible landing spot? Wow, to have their respective talents and just refuse to play even rudimentary defense.
There’s no news on Athanasiou right now. He finished last season with the AHL’s Rockford IceHogs, so he’s likely to have to take a pro try-out (PTO) with a team during training camp and/or the exhibition season to earn his way back into the NHL.
