The Detroit Red Wings practiced on Monday at Little Caesars Arena’s BELFOR Training Center, ahead of a Tuesday rematch with the Minnesota Wild (8 PM EST start on FanDuel SportsNet Detroit/FanDuel SportsNet North/FanDuel SportsNet Wisconsin/97.1 FM).
Andrew Copp (upper-body injury), Michael Rasmussen (upper-body injury) and both Lucas Raymond and Dylan Larkin (maintenance days) were absent from Monday’s practice, so the lines were shaken up significantly.
After practice…
We’ll get an update from McLellan shortly, but Andrew Copp’s name plate is off his locker stall, replaced by Dries. Not a good sign

SO…
Neither Michael Rasmussen or Andrew Copp will make the trip to Minnesota. Rasmussen day to day, McLellan said he’ll know more on Copp tomorrow but looking a little longer term

Per Coach McLellan, Andrew Copp (exact timeline TBD) & Michael Rasmussen (day-to-day) will be unavailable tomorrow in Minnesota.

McLellan said neither Rasmussen or Copp are making trip to Minnesota; says Copp absence could be longer term #RedWings

#RedWings McLellan: Rasmussen out for tomorrow and day -to-day. They’ll know more about Copp’s injury tomorrow but looks like it’ll be longer term than expected. Haven’t decided on lineup and whether Dries will play tomorrow.

Meanwhile, in Minnesota:
Gustavsson starts tomorrow vs. Red Wings. Hynes thinks Lauko will be back, so #mnwild would need to make a roster move if so (likely Shore to Iowa or Dermott on waivers)
