Larkin will come back to Detroit on Friday, but coach Todd McLellan made it very clear that Larkin will not practice with the team.
Instead, he’ll try to gather his energy and prepare for Saturday’s matinee game against Minnesota and Sunday’s game against Anaheim. With the Wings facing a difficult stretch of 3 games in 4 nights to start their 27-game stretch run…
They’ll need whatever they can get from their captain.
Come home, get some rest, and please be healthy, captain Larkin. Your Red Wings are gonna need you.
