The Detroit Red Wings’ morning skate revealed that defenseman Albert Johansson will play tonight in lieu of Erik Gustafsson as Detroit battles the Nashville Predators this evening (7 PM EDT on Bally Sports Detroit/Bally Sports South/97.1 FM).
Our friends from Nashville didn’t practice yesterday, so their morning skate would be revealing as to whether Juuse Saros was ready to go after missing Thursday’s 4-3 loss to the Dallas Stars with a “lower-body injury”:
