MLive’s Ansar Khan reported that Lucas Raymond didn’t practice with today’s non-game-day group, marking the second day that Raymond didn’t practice.
After both the game-day and non-game-day groups practiced ahead of tonight’s game vs. Pittsburgh (7 PM EDT start on DetroitRedWings.com/PittsburghPenguins.com), Red Wings coach Derek Lalonde spoke with the media, and here’s what he had to say:
Lucas Raymond had a maintenance day, lower body needs some rest per Coach Lalonde. Should be back in the mix Monday #LGRW

Just a maintenance day for Raymond, Lalonde said.

Also:
Gustafsson will not play tonight, though he did skate this morning. Wallinder was the D I missed at skate, so would think he’s in tonight

#RedWings Lalonde said Raymond (lower body) took maintenance day but should be ready Monday. Gustafsson (upper body) skated today but won’t play. Should be ready Monday. That means Edvinsson might get a look on the first power play unit with Wallinder on the second.
