Prospect round-up and catch-up of doom: Sandin Pellikka doing his thing in the SHL; Major Junior hockey underway

Of Red Wings prospect-related note today in Europe:

In the SHL, Anton Johansson’s Leksands IF won 4-1 over Theodor Niederbach’s MoDo Hockey.

Johansson finished even with 2 shots in 14:25 played for Leksand; Niederbach finished at -2 with 1 shot, 1 blocked shot and a penalty taken in 16:28;

And in the DEL, Kevin Bicker finished with a shot on goal and a penalty in 8:19 played as the Frankfurt Lowen won 5-3 over the Schwenniger Wild Wings.

In the SHL, Johansson finished even in 12:42 played as Leksands IF lost 5-0 to Farjestads BK;

Theodor Niederbach had an assist, finishing even with 2 shots on goal in 14:27 played as MoDo Hockey won 4-3 in overtime over Malmo;

Axel Sandin Pellikka had an assist, finishing even in 14:33 as Skelleftea AIK won 3-1 over HV71.

In the OHL, Tnias Mathurin finished at -2 as former Wings development camper Connor Punnett scored the OT winner as the North Bay Battalion lost 4-3 to the Barrie Colts;

In the Swedish Allsvenskan, Liam Dower Nilsson scored a goal on 3 shots, finishing at +1 in 15:39 as IF Bjorkloven won 6-1 over Vasterviks IK;

In the OHL, Tnias Mathurin had an assist, finishing even in North Bay’s 3-1 loss to Barrie;

Andrew Gibson had FOUR assists, finishing at +2 in the Soo Greyhounds’ 11-2 win over Flint. The box score has full game highlights;

In the WHL, Emmitt Finnie had a goal and 2 assists, finishing at +3 with 2 shots in the Kamloops Blazers’ 5-1 win over Vancouver;

Nate Danielson’s Brandon Wheat Kings lost 5-2 to Moose Jaw;

In the BCHL, Larry Keenan finished even as his Penticton Vees won 4-3 in overtime over Nainamo;

On Saturday

In the OHL, Kevin Gibson finished even in the Soo Greyhounds’ 7-5 win over Hamilton;

In the WHL, Danielson’s Wheat Kings won 6-3 over Swift Current;

Finnie finished at -2 with 2 shots in the Blazers’ 5-0 loss to Everett;

In the BCHL, Larry Keenan finished even with a penalty taken in the Penticton Vees’ 3-2 shootout loss to Powell River;

In the USHL, Rudy Guimond stopped 36 of 40 shots as his Cedar Rapids Roughriders lost 4-1 to Dubuque;

And Jack Phelan finished at +1 with 1 shot in the Sioux Falls Stampede’s 4-3 overtime win over Des Moines;
