Prospect round-up: A ballsy sort of day for Moritz Seider

Of prospect-related note from a busy Thursday:

In the Belarusian League, Kirill Tyutyayev scored a goal, finishing at +1 with 3 shots in Yunost Minsk’s 5-1 win over Mogolev;

In the SHL, the Albert Johansson-less Farjestads BK won 5-1 over Linkoping;

Albin Grewe (coronavirus) didn’t play in Djurgardens IF’s 5-2 win over Orebro Hockey. Matias Brome had an assist and finished even with 5 shots in 20:13 played for Orebro;

Moritz Seider had an assist and finished at +1 with 1 shot in 20:47 played as Rogle BK defeated Skelleftea AIK 5-2. Jonatan Berggren had an assist but finished at -2 in 15:32 played for Skelleftea…

One of the game’s big stories was Seider getting slashed in the nether regions by Oscar Moller…Moller was ejected and got 25 minutes in penalties for the major offense:

Here’s Seider’s assist:

And this happened, too:

Update: I like the way the Free Press’s Helene St. James worded her recap of today’s performance by Seider:

In his most recent outing, Seider had an assist and drew a penalty to help Rögle win, 5-2. In 14 games, he has two goals and eight assists, averaging .72 points per game in roughly 20 minutes of average ice time. For comparison, the top-scoring defenseman on the team — 29-year-old Eric Gelinas — has 15 points in 20 games, an average of .75.

And the Frolunda Indians won 3-2 over HV71 minus Theodor Niederbach or Lucas Raymond;

In NCAA Hockey, Antti Tuomisto had an assist and finished at +1 with 1 penalty taken in the University of Denver’s 5-1 win over Miami of Ohio;

And the box score of the University of North Dakota’s 2-2 OT tie with the University of Minnesota-Duluth isn’t available yet, so I’ll post Cooper Moore’s stats as soon as they’re available.

Update #2: Cooper Moore finished even with 2 shots in the 2-2 UND-UMD tie.
