Prospect Round-up: Niederbach scores, Seider avoids an injury scare

Of prospect-related note:

In the SHL, Lucas Raymond’s Frolunda Indians won 3-2 over Moritz Seider’s Rogle BK.

On the Frolunda side, Theodor Niederbach scored his first goal, finishing at +1 with 4 shots in only 6:34 played…

Also for Frolunda, Raymond finished even with 1 shot in 15:20, facing off against Seider most of the night; for Rogle, Seider finished at -1 with 1 shot, 1 penalty taken in 18:13, and he survived a very close call as he was checked at the goal line, falling into the end boards as a result. Seider would emerge unscathed, but the uncalled trip and collision was quite scary:

In a high-scoring game, Jonatan Berggren had an assist but finished at -1 in 14:49 played as Skelleftea AIK won 6-5 in overtime over Brynas:

Joe Veleno had 4 shots and won 50% of his faceoffs in 19:10 of ice time, but the Malmo Redhawks lost 3-1 against Albin Grewe’s Djurgardens IF. Grewe didn’t dress for Djurgarden;

In the Swedish Allsvenskan, Malte Setkov had an assist and finished at +1 in 21:15 played as AIK Stockholm lost 4-2 to BIK Karlskoga;

In the ICE Hockey League, Calvin Pickard has yet to dress for the Vienna Capitals, who won 3-2 against the HCB Foxes;

And in the Belarusian League, Kirill Tyutyayev had 2 blocked shots in Yunost Minsk’s 1-0 overtime loss to Dynamo-Molodechno.

Later tonight, in the USHL, Chase Bradley and the Sioux City Musketeers will battle Omaha;

And in NCAA Division I Hockey, Antti Tuomisto and the University of Denver Pioneers will tangle with St. Cloud State at 9:05 PM EST;

Robert Mastrosimone and Boston University will battle Connecticut at 2:30 PM;

Patrick Holway and Merrimack will battle UMass at 4:30 PM;

And Jack Adams’ Providence College Friars will face off against Boston College tonight at 7 PM.

Update: In the USHL, Chase Bradley didn’t play in the Sioux City Musketeers’ 3-2 loss to Omaha;

In NCAA hockey, Antti Tuomisto didn’t dent the scoresheet in the University of Denver Pioneers’ 4-3 loss to St. Cloud State;

Boston University cancelled its game vs. Connecticut due to a positive coronavirus test;

Patrick Holway finished at -1 with 1 shot in Merrimack College’s 3-1 loss to UMass;

And Jack Adams didn’t play in the Providence College Friars’ 9-0 loss to Boston College.
