    1. I hope Veleno is progressing enough to get a shot at Top 6 or Top 9. No ordinary Joe. Send Frans somewhere (nice person but maybe the end of the road?)

Fil is on the 4th Line? Crowded 4th Line!

      1. Veleno will be in Sweden until the end of the Swedish season, so things will be complicated there.

        1. That is not so bad! I knew at least one was staying but forgot it was Veleno. With the AHL cutting back on their teams and the NHL hasn’t given any concrete evidence about a start date maybe staying across the pond might at least give some Ice Time.
Not sure about the level compared to AHL so at least skating is better than popcorn and beer, LOL.

Ras is like a YoYo up then done. I have been digging stuff up on him. He is a sensitive , quiet person,,, which is OK by me. but he needs someone to talk to him away from hockey. He got away with it in the WHL, by being BIG. He needs a different role in the NHL. I didn’t hear much about him in GR which can be a tough league, mostly mental. If he ever gets confident , he will still be a pain to play against. The Head games are messing up his hockey game. I can’t forget the WHL vs Russia, 2 Russian players laughed at him and said something, Ras just looked at them and skated around the back of the Net. Hope I am wrong but if it is something else he might have a short career.

          1. I agree with you regarding Rasmussen…he needs to settle down a bit and worry less about what people are trying to do to him and worry more about what he’s trying to do instead. He takes a ton of retaliatory penalties, and that’s just not necessary.

As for Veleno, the travel is pretty easy–the biggest trip for the team is 1,500 kilometers, and most of the teams can be reached by bus travel.
