DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings today announced details for numerous free, fan-friendly activities surrounding the sold-out Red Wings 2018 Development Camp, which will be held at the BELFOR Training Center inside Little Caesars Arena from Tuesday, June 26 to Saturday, June 30.
The Red Wings Development Camp features the team’s top prospects, including first-rounders Dennis Cholowski (20th overall in 2016), Michael Rasmussen (9th overall in 2017), Joe Veleno (30th overall in 2018) and Filip Zadina (6th overall in 2018), as they participate in daily on-ice instruction and skill development, concluding with the Red & White scrimmage on Saturday, June 30. Fans who do not have tickets to Development Camp are encouraged to visit Little Caesars Arena to watch select practice sessions streamed live in the Chevrolet Plaza and take advantage of fan-friendly, free activities, which are set to begin on Wednesday, June 27. No fan activities are scheduled for Tuesday, June 26 due to the Harry Styles concert at Little Caesars Arena.
FREE, FAN-FRIENDLY EVENTS AT CHEVROLET PLAZA
Fans without tickets can still experience the excitement of Development Camp at Little Caesars Arena. Starting on Wednesday, June 27, Chevrolet Plaza, located outdoors at the southwest corner of the arena, will stream select portions of each day’s on-ice practices on the HD video board in the plaza, which measures 40-feet wide by 22-feet high.
The Red Wings Experience, presented by Coca-Cola, will also be set up in Chevrolet Plaza starting on Wednesday, June 27, featuring interactive games designed to give Red Wings fans an opportunity to test their hockey skills, take part in photo opportunities and have the chance to win a number of great prizes.

LITTLE CAESARS ARENA TOURS AVAILABLE DURING DEVELOPMENT CAMP
Fans can tour the state-of-the-art Little Caesars Arena during Development Camp for $10 per person. The hour-long tours will depart from the BELFOR Training Center at the below times:
- Wednesday, June 27: 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
- Thursday, June 28: 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- Friday, June 29: 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
- Saturday, June 30: 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.
Tickets for Little Caesars Arena tours can be purchased in advance here. A limited number of tickets for tours will be available in person at Development Camp at the Group Sales kiosk outside Portal 14.
20 PERCENT DISCOUNT AVAILABLE AT ALL LITTLE CAESARS ARENA RESTAURANTS
All Little Caesars Arena restaurants – District Market, Kid Rock’s Made in Detroit, Mike’s Pizza Bar and Sports & Social Detroit – will offer a 20 percent discount to fans who present a ticket during Development Camp.
MERCHANDISE DISCOUNT AVAILABLE AT OFFICIAL TEAM STORE
Ticketed fans in attendance for Development Camp can take advantage of a 40 percent discount on Red Wings merchandise, excluding Authentics, at the Little Caesars Arena Team Store. During Development Camp, the Team Store will be open Tuesday, June 26 (11 a.m. – 4 p.m.) and Wednesday, June 27 to Saturday, June 30 (11 a.m. – 6 p.m.).
DEVELOPMENT CAMP VIP EXPERIENCE
Red Wings fans can enter-to-win an exclusive VIP Experience package for the sold-out scrimmage on Saturday, June 30. The winner will receive two reserved seats to the scrimmage and the opportunity to watch warm-ups from the bench or penalty box, in addition to receiving a Red Wings replica jersey, a $50 gift card to the Little Caesars Arena Team Store and a private meet and greet with a Red Wings prospect.
