The Detroit Red Wings battle the Seattle Kraken this evening (10 PM EST start on FanDuel SportsNet Detroit/KHN/KONG/97.1 FM), with the Red Wings looking to extend their winning streak to 7 games.
The “Sound of Hockey” followed the Kraken’s morning skate, which started at 10 AM local time…
Not sure what just happened, but Joey Daccord got stung doing his extra work with Steve Briere.

Detroit Hockey Now’s Kevin Allen adds to our Wings-Kraken previews…
The Detroit Red Wings time in a playoff spot could be two-night stay if the team doesn’t take care of business tonight the Seattle Kraken (10 p.m. ET, FanDuel Sports Network) in their final game of a four-game road trip.
The Boston Bruins and Tampa Bay Lightning, one point behind Detroit, both play tonight. The Bruins are home to face the Minnesota Wild and the Lightning are on the road against the Buffalo Sabres. The Columbus Blue Jackets are tied with Detroit for the final two playoff spots.
The Kraken are in 28th place in the NHL overall, but this game is as important to Detroit as beating the Oilers was earlier in this road trip.
The Red Wings just defeated Seattle 6-2, in Detroit on Jan. 12. The Kraken have lost four of their last six.
