Tweet of note: McKenzie reports Sweden to practice today

After over a week in quarantine due to positive coronavirus tests, TSN’s Bob McKenzie reports that the Swedish World Junior Championship (which includes Lucas Raymond, Theodor Niederbach, Gustav Berglund, Albert Johansson and Elmer Soderblom) will be emerging from their hotel rooms to skate in Edmonton today:

  1. I thought the two Swedes with positive Covid were not players. The quarantine time has come down in some cases to 9 or 10 days. ah, but maybe late arrivals to the Edonmonchuk bubble. Some pretty good players, Sweden should be OK and good for the Tourney start. I think at least two where on the 1st line, maybe 3.

    I think now I am answering my own questions

    1. The two Swedish executives who tested positive have to stay in their hotel rooms until December 27th. The players are “out” as of today.
