Via Krupa: Wings sign Duquette, Bizier, D’Astous to PTO’s

The Detroit News’s Gregg Krupa found out that the Red Wings have signed three QMJHL players to pro try-outs, per 92.9 FM’s Jean Deschesnes. One, Charle-Edouard D’Astous, is an AHL-contracted player. The other two are free agent invites:

  1. Got me with these players, LOL. one for each team? PTOs are usually interesting, but everything will be interesting with Yzerman

  2. Not sure what’s so interesting here. They are trying out for the AHL or ECHL affiliates. Holland did this often.

    1. When and how many in the last 10 years? Did any make the roster? No data , no compute? Google time!

      1. David Booth was the last to win an NHL job. But there are many guys that latch on in the AHL/ECHL over the years. Google if you don’t believe it.
