The Detroit News’s Gregg Krupa found out that the Red Wings have signed three QMJHL players to pro try-outs, per 92.9 FM’s Jean Deschesnes. One, Charle-Edouard D’Astous, is an AHL-contracted player. The other two are free agent invites:

David Booth was the last to win an NHL job. But there are many guys that latch on in the AHL/ECHL over the years. Google if you don’t believe it.
