Per DetroitRedWings.com’s Carley Johnston:

JT Compher says he's close with Dylan Larkin and Andrew Copp, went to University of Michigan with the two of them #LGRW

Compher says he's played center, both wings. He enjoys playing center more, but likes playing at whatever position that will help the team with success #LGRW

I'm excited to have JT Compher here with the Wings, you can tell he's happy to be in Detroit. Seems like a good locker room guy, can't wait to get things started #LGRW

JT Compher spoke a lot about his experience in Colorado. Specifically going through the rebuild process and ultimately winning a Stanley Cup. Hopes he can use that experience to help the @DetroitRedWings get there too. #LGRW
