From DetroitRedWings.com’s Carley Johnston:

Shayne Gostisbehere on being more of a "mentor" now in the league, at 30 y/o, what would he tell younger offensive D-men? "The big thing is confidence. When you're losing the confidence and it's not going your way, less is more. Keep It simple. Let the game come to you." #LGRW

Shayne Gostisbehere says he can play both sides on defense, obviously noteworthy for the Red Wings who are deeper on the left than the right

Gostisbehere on being a South Florida-native, how'd he get into hockey? His Grandpa is from Montreal, they had tickets for Panthers #LGRW

Gostisbehere says his Grandpa, who he credited to getting him into hockey, will text him after a game if he doesn't have many shots on net 😂 hats off to Gramps, he's helped make Shayne an offensive defenseman #LGRW
