One more damn day

Never telegraph your shot. I’m still on the wrong side of sick and hope to get my butt back to work Friday. I’m sorry. This bug has been wretched.

    Even in a down year, it’s stuff like that that shows me why I love this game.

  2. George, I was hoping to see you up and running today. But hopefully it’s over soon.

    I was going to try and ignite a new conversation…but yesterday it was pointed out to me how disrespectful it was for me to do that in an article about you being ill. Sorry again for disrespecting you, even after you thanked us for keeping the conversation going. Next time I’ll search through all the archives and find the appropriate article. Get well soon.

  4. Heres something that us all feel better!

    Tri City Americans remain undefeated in playoffs taking game 1 over Everett 7-0. Mr. Rasmussen 1G, 2A,+2, 2 SOG. Named games 1st star!

    Had to listen to Everetts radio feed for some reason, so it was hard to tell details about the Americans. They did worry about Mr. Rasmussen and his ability to go where he wanted when he wanted. The announcer was brief and kind of bummed, but implied his shut down D smothered any line he was up against, something I had not heard to much of before.

      Everett lost to Mr. Cholowskis’ Winterhawks 5-2 in game 1.

      0G, 0A, +1, 2 SOG. I missed this one, both games played at the same time…

    2. Thank you, once again. I just hope you bringing this forward isnt met with a copy and pasted reality check about how actually not good they are. haha.

      This really makes me miss the Whalers, you know? I am now closer than ever just a couple of years after they’ve left, but I remember watching Connor McDavid (!) among others like Rickard Rakell and Sonny Milano; the former with Erie and the latter two with the Whalers.

      Now it’s a bit different with USA NTDP, which has its own upside (Women’s National Teams, 2017 World Cup!) and the Men’s development program (Including 2017 Summer Showcase; Mittlestadt, Tkachuk, Givani Smith, and I’m sure plenty more).

      Not sure where everyone is from, but if you are any close, these events are nice and less expensive than wings games!
