According to TSN’s Darren Dreger, at the 4:25 mark of the following video, Dreger says “the waiting game continues as well” as Larkin gets ready for the regular season, and on the trade front, it sounds quiet, so coach Todd McLellan has to get everyone to buy in right out of the gate at puck drop, and perhaps there is an injury with a team that gives Horcoff enough of a package to make a deal, but that’s not where it is this morning, it’s not perfect, but it’s the best of a bad situation with Larkin still willing to play and Horcoff trying to work out a package that makes sense for Detroit:
