Red Wings forward Andrew Copp and coach Todd McLellan spoke with the media prior to the Red Wings-Jets game tonight:

In case anyone missed it, Todd McLellan did say this morning that Jeff Petry will NOT play tonight. Petry is with the team & McLellan added " Once we get back to Detroit he'll get the care he needs and hopefully (its) short term." @DetroitRedWings #LGRW
