Daily Faceoff’s Frank Seravalli has this to say about the Red Wings’ goaltending situation:

Fascinated by Red Wings goaltending pecking order at the end of training camp.

Cam Talbot
Ville Husso
Alex Lyon
Jack Campbell
Sebastian Cossa

That is $8.925 million in four one-way contracts (requiring waivers) plus 2021 first-round pick Cossa, who is waiver exempt.

Right now, the Red Wings’ goaltending situation looks like this:

NHL: Cam Talbot, Ville Husso, Alex Lyon

AHL/Grand Rapids: Jack Campbell, Sebastian Cossa, Carter Gylander

ECHL/Toledo Walleye: Gage Alexander, Griffins-contracted Jan Bednar

So there’s some sorting to do!
