Perron was wonderful, but he slowed considerably during his tenure with Detroit:

We'll miss Gostisbehere and Perron, presuming that they don't circle back, but both players were as much defensive liabilities and tended to take obstruction penalties.

Perron was a wonderful leader while he was here in Detroit. But he got slow.
