Red Wings-Panthers morning skate Tweets III: Bucci in town; Panthers’ lines

There was no news from the Red Wings’ morning skate as to whether the lines have changed or the lineup is different, though coach Blashill and Sam Gagner did speak with the media.

The Panthers, who are in flux due to Joel Quenneville’s resignation, skated at LCA as well:

#FlaPanthers Ekblad: “It’s been a crazy few days. … We’re a team that’s a bit distraught right now, but we’ve got to come together.”— Erin Brown (@rinkside) October 29, 2021

#FlaPanthers Ekblad says he watched @rwesthead‘s @TSN_Sports interview with Kyle Beach: “Extremely sad.”

“I’m just really sad for (Kyle). … It’s a terrible situation. I couldn’t imagine being in that situation.”— Erin Brown (@rinkside) October 29, 2021

Ekblad said familiarity with Brunette:

“We’re all comfortable [with Brunette]. The standard that was set will be carried on.”— Jameson Olive (@JamesonCoop) October 29, 2021

Panthers defenseman Aaron Ekblad said it has been “a crazy few days with all the information and what’s happened.”

On watching the Kyle Beach interview and if it changed how he feels about Joel Quenneville: “I’m not sure of my feelings right now. I’m trying to gather them.”— Jordan McPherson (@J_McPherson1126) October 29, 2021

Ekblad, who didn’t look like his upbeat, positive self, said he’s still trying to gather his emotions.

It is hard not to feel empathy for #FlaPanthers players, who had no control over this situation. I hope the #NHL is providing mental health resources to help them through this.— Erin Brown (@rinkside) October 29, 2021

Aaron Ekblad on Joel Quenneville: “I’m not sure about my feelings right now. I’m just trying to gather them and take care of what I have to take care of mentally to learn and grow from this situation, but I’m just not sure about my feelings.— David Dwork (@DavidDwork) October 29, 2021
