The Detroit Red Wings held a brief morning skate ahead of tonight’s game against the Vancouver Canucks (7 PM EDT start on BSD/Sportsnet West/97.1 FM); Vancouver skipped their morning skate for a media availability instead as they’re coming off a 5-4 shootout win over Philadelphia last night (and are playing their 3rd game in 4 nights).
