Red Wings Tweets from practice: Waiting on Bobby Ryan, Lucas Raymond and Joe Veleno, and live Tweets from Khan, etc. (till I go to the doctor’s office)

Updated 7x at 11:46 AM: Of Red Wings-related note as this morning’s practice gets underway at Little Caesars Arena’s Belfor Training Center:

  1. From TSN’s Ryan Rishaug, via Kukla’s Korner:

Still no talks on a contract for Chiasson in Vancouver but the door remains open after a solid showing. Meanwhile Bobby Ryan’s PTO expires today in Detroit and no deal as of now.— Ryan Rishaug (@TSNRyanRishaug) October 11, 2021

2. And, from MLive’s Ansar Khan (prepare for inline updates):

#RedWings on ice for practice. Don’t see Ryan. Raymond and Veleno skating with team. 23–man roster must be set by 5 p.m. today. pic.twitter.com/VBzG9TO163— Ansar Khan (@AnsarKhanMLive) October 11, 2021

I will regrettably be leaving for a doctor’s appointment at 12:45, and the appointment will last from 1:15 to 3 PM, so I’ll catch up when I can.

3. Also from Paul Kukla:

Alex Nedeljkovic maintains his rookie status heading into the 2021-22 campaign as he joins the @DetroitRedWings. Last season, @alexned_ was named a Calder Trophy finalist after posting a 15-5-3 record.

  1. Best to you George. Look forward to your coverage when you return. Interesting that maybe Raymond and Veleno are staying?

    1. HSJ’s Tweet is a good reminder that, until Thursday, the roster is in flux. Here’s hoping that Raymond stays at least.
