Injury updates for Monday’s Red Wings practice: Bertuzzi (maintenance), Vrana (???)

FYI:

Tyler Bertuzzi had a maintenance day today at the Red Wings’ practice, per coach Jeff Blashill. He says the Wings will give him certain days off to be ready for the year without overdoing it.— George Malik (@georgemalik) September 27, 2021

Jeff Blashill didn’t have update on Jakub Vrana (shoulder, seeing a specialist today) but mentioned there’s possibility Red Wings will have to start the season without him.— Helene St. James (@HeleneStJames) September 27, 2021

Blashill tells @m_bultman that Vrana “had an issue that flared up in practice.”— George Malik (@georgemalik) September 27, 2021

For those asking about Vrana’s shoulder issue, for which he is seeing a specialist today, Blashill says it was something that flared up on him— Max Bultman (@m_bultman) September 27, 2021
