Red Wings forward Anthony Mantha and coach Jeff Blashill were made available to the media on Monday afternoon, ahead of the Red Wings’ set of games against the Dallas Stars:

FYI:

Jeff Blashill says Namestnikov practiced at center today. Doesn't mean he'll play there tomorrow, but at least sets up the possibility for it in the near future

Anthony Mantha says he's watched film and talked with Blashill in recent days, and that he'll do everything in his power to not have to sit again, as he did for much of the third period yesterday

Anthony Mantha says the only game he came off the ice feeling like he played well so far this season was the OT win over Columbus. It's pretty clear the slow start has bothered him as much as anybody
