Filip Zadina asks for a voting hand on Twitter

Filip Zadina is asking fans to vote for his goal scored against Red Wings teammate Filip Hronek for the “Golden Helmet” award on Hokej.cz. The “Zlata helma Sencor” award names the best play in the Czech Extraliga for a given month, with the monthly winners advancing to the year’s top play awards.

  1. I know I said the other day this is an amazing goal but I should have mentioned that Hronek could have destroyed Zadina with a massive hit. Hronek held up there for sure. I wonder if he was thinking of his teammate’s health?

    1. There’s a question as to whether a teammate sees his teammate and pauses a split-second to make sure he doesn’t clock the guy…But I think that Hronek went for the puck, which he does from time to time.
