PLYMOUTH, Mich. – USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program announced its promotional schedule for the 2019-20 season this afternoon, which features giveaways, theme nights and community initiatives.

Team USA kicks off the season with a pair of NCAA matchups against Northern Michigan University and the University of Notre Dame on October 5 and 6, respectively. Promotions for opening weekend include a 2019-20 magnet schedule giveaway for the first 2,500 fans, as well as the Under-18 team poster giveaway and postgame autograph session after Sunday’s game.

Other Team USA giveaways for the season include the U17 poster giveaway and postgame autographs (Oct. 11), a Dylan Larkin bobblehead giveaway (Feb. 22) and an assortment of items for Fan Appreciation Day (April 11).

Fans will have an opportunity to meet all 46 Team USA players throughout the season. After the game on October 6 vs. Notre Dame, stick around to collect some autographs and meet the U18s. You can get on the ice with the whole team by joining them for the post-game skate on December 28 after taking on North Dakota. Get to know the U17 team by attending their post-game meet and greet on October 11 or lace up the skates after the game against Dubuque on October 26.

New for this season is Nickelodeon Night, where Team USA will sport Spongebob Squarepants-themed jerseys when the Lincoln Stars come to town on January 18. Also new to the schedule is Princess and Heroes night on January 10 when fans can dress up as their favorite character.

Six select $5 Fun Nights are planned at USA Hockey Arena throughout the year. Enjoy the fun of Team USA hockey with added entertainment like face painting, photo booths, games and raffles. The six-game series includes the contests on October 18 vs. Green Bay, October 25 vs. Youngstown, November 15 vs. Des Moines, January 17 vs. Lincoln, February 28 vs. Waterloo and April 10 vs. Green Bay.
