Prospect round-up: Catching up with a busy weekend

Of prospect-related note from the time in which I was sidelined:

On Saturday, in the AHL, the Grand Rapids Griffins were shut out 4-0 by the San Antonio Rampage. The Griffins’ website posted a recap and photo gallery from the game; the Rampage’s website posted a recap.

In the ECHL, the Toledo Walleye beat the Kalmazoo K-Wings 8-5 in an exhibition game held at the Huntington Center. The Walleye’s website posted a recap, as did the Toledo Blade’s Mark Monroe; Toledo and Grand Rapids both open their regular seasons on Friday, October 12th.

In the SHL, Malte Setkov took 2 shots in 17:30 played as his Malmo Redhawks won 5-1 over Orebro;

Jonatan Bergrren finished even with 1 shot in 13:09 played as Skelleftea AIK lost 3-1 to Brynas;

And Victor Brattstrom served as the back-up in Timra IK’s 2-1 OT win over Mora;

In the Dansk Metal League, Joren van Pottelberghe stopped 18 of 20 shots in the Rungsted Seier Capitals’ 6-2 win over the Herlev Eagles;

In the OHL, Brady Gilmour finished at -1 and went 5-for-15 on faceoffs, and Reilly Webb took 1 shot in the Saginaw Spirit’s 4-3 win over Erie;

Cole Fraser finished at +1 with an assist and Zach Gallant took 3 shots, finishing even with a 14-for-25 faceoff record in the Peterborough Petes’ 3-2 loss to Hamilton;

In the WHL, Lane Zablocki sat out his Kelowna Rockets’ 4-1 loss to the Victoria Royals with an injury;

In NCAA hockey, Jack Adams had a goal and an assist, finishing at +2 with 3 shots as the Union College Dutchmen won 4-1 over Army;

In the USHL, Ryan O’Reilly scored a goal on 2 shots, finishing at -2 in the Fargo Force’s 5-4 loss to Sioux Falls;

And on Monday, in the OHL, Cole Fraser finished at +2 with 3 shots and Zach Gallant had an assist, finishing at +1 with 3 shots and a 17-for-25 faceoff record in the Peterborough Petes’ 4-1 win over Brampton.
