The Detroit News’s Ted Kulfan said, “Hello”…

Ericsson and Daley are practicing this morning – but no Kronwall

— Ted Kulfan (@tkulfan) October 3, 2018

As did MLive’s Ansar Khan…

#RedWings lines at practice same as yesterday:
Nyquist-Larkin-Mantha
Bertuzzi-Nielsen-Rasmussen
Abdelkader-Athanasiou-Vanek
Helm-Ehn-Glendening
Frk (extra)
D:
DeKeyser-Cholowski
Daley-Sulak
Ericsson-Jensen
Kronwall (out) not skating. Hronek and/or Hicketts not recalled as of yet.

— Ansar Khan (@AnsarKhanMLive) October 3, 2018

#RedWings power-play units:
Nyquist-Larkin-Bertuzzi (net front), Rasmussen-Daley
Athanasiou-Nielsen-Mantha (net front), Vanek-Cholowski

— Ansar Khan (@AnsarKhanMLive) October 3, 2018

Ericsson (upper-body injury) not taking part in special teams drills, staying behind on practice rink while team moved to the main rink. If Ericsson can’t go they’ll need to recall Hronek or Hicketts. #RedWings

— Ansar Khan (@AnsarKhanMLive) October 3, 2018

Rasmussen spending more time at the net front than Bertuzzi on that one power-play unit. #RedWings

Here come the “FYI’s”:

1. FYI, regarding the composition of the roster, per 97.1 the Ticket’s Will Burtchfield:

Two years ago, #RedWings dressed three players under age of 25 on opening night. Last year, four. They could dress as many as 11 Thursday night vs Blue Jackets — nearly 2/3 of roster. Partly circumstantial w/ some injuries on D, but #thekids have officially arrived.
