“Sample Page,” a.k.a., “Who is the ‘Malik Report, anyway?”

Dear Readers,

I’m George Malik, and I’ve been blogging about the Red Wings in some way, shape or form since 1999, and I’ve been blogging professionally for the past 10 years.

The Malik Report is the product of collaborations with MLive and then Kukla’s Korner, and after 5 years on Kukla’s, I’ve decided to make the big move out on my own.

I’m a 38-year-old writer who’s been a Red Wings fan since 1991, and I have a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Michigan.

I live in South Lyon, MI, with my mother and aunt; I needed them to take care of me ten years ago, and now I help take care of them. It works.
