Plugging the Wings’ ‘Pucks for Paws’ calendar

I don’t mind giving the Red Wings some free advertising here, so here’s the Red Wings’ “Pucks for Paws” calendar Tweet:

Here’s the Red Wings’ press release regarding the “Pucks for Paws” calendar:

With the end of the calendar year approaching, it’s almost time to turn the page on 2020, and there’s no better way to do that than with a 2021 Detroit Red Wings Pucks for Paws Wall Calendar.

The 2021 Pucks for Paws Calendar, presented by PetSmart, is on sale now for $20 apiece and includes favorite Red Wings players and personalities with their four-legged friends and adoptable pets from Michigan Humane.

The 12-month calendar, which features Pucks for Paws favorites like Tyler Bertuzzi‘s dog, Aspen, Luke Glendening‘s dog, Lucy, Ken Daniels’ dog, Jack, and more, makes the perfect gift for the pet-loving Red Wings fan in your life.

Calendar proceeds benefit PetSmart Charities, which is the leading funder of animal welfare in North America, and the Detroit Red Wings Foundation, which is focused on providing opportunity and access to hockey for thousands of children in Detroit.

“We’re excited to once again partner with PetSmart on the annual Red Wings Pucks for Paws Calendar,” said Red Wings director of community impact Kevin Brown. “Available just in time for the holiday season, this calendar makes for a tremendous gift for any Red Wings fan looking to support two great causes – PetSmart Charities and the Detroit Red Wings Foundation.”

New this year, and only available to calendar purchasers, is the opportunity to buy exclusive Pucks for Paws merchandise, including a limited number of Red Wings-branded leashes and pet bandanas, along with their calendar.

Back by popular demand for the second straight year, the Pucks for Paws Calendar has become a favorite for Red Wings players to be part of. This year’s calendar includes all the familiar faces, like Bertuzzi, Glendening, Dylan Larkin, Anthony Mantha, Danny DeKeyser and others, along with new Wings like forward Vladislav Namestnikov and goaltender Thomas Greiss.

“It’s always nice when we’re able to provide Red Wings fans a glimpse into the lives of our players and personalities outside the sport of hockey,” Brown said. “You can see their love of animals shine through in each page of the 2021 Pucks for Paws Calendar. The players always enjoy coming down to Little Caesars Arena and taking photos with their favorite pets for the calendar.”
