Elsewhere…

Things get confusing in the Swedish Allsvenskan, where Gustav Lindstrom’s Almtuna IS finished 5th and Malte Setkov’s IK Pantern finished 6th in round-robin play.

On Sunday, Lindstrom did not play in Almtuna IS’s 6-0 loss to IK Oskarshamn;

And Setkov had an assist as IK Pantern lost 5-2 to Sodertalje SK;

In the OHL, Reilly Webb finished even with 1 shot in the Saginaw Spirit’s 3-2 loss to Windsor.

The Spirit will play Jordan Sambrook’s Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in the OHL playoffs, starting on Friday;

Speaking of Sambrook, he had an assist and 2 shots in the Sault’s 6-3 win over London;

In the WHL, Michael Rasmussen didn’t play in his Tri-City Americans’ 5-2 win over Seattle;

Tri-City will play Kelowna in the first round of the WHL playoffs, starting on Thursday;

Portland and Spokane will face off in the first round of the WHL playoffs next Saturday;

In the USHL, Filip Larsson remains sidelined with an injury(?) as his Tri-City Storm won 5-2 over Chicago;

And in NCAA hockey, Kasper Kotkansalo’s Boston University Terriers will face off against Colgate next Saturday in the NCAA Northeast Regional Semifinal.
